My first job in an advertising agency was a Graduate Trainee at Saatchi & Saatchi on Charlotte Street, London.
I have recently rediscovered some of the work Saatchi’s created at that time [mid 1980s].
Paul Arden was at the creative helm.
Charles Saatchi’s paintings hung all over the office walls.
“We are the champions” was the agency mojo and ‘theme song’.
We had an open bar tab at every local pub and nearby Indian restaurant
